FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Classic Log Cabins Establishes Web SiteCompany to open model home in Payson, ArizonaMonday April 11, 2005 -- Classic Log Cabins of the Old West established a web presence today in their quest to start up operations. Their web page can be seen at, http://www.classiclogcabins.com . The company based in Payson, Arizona is creating a line of high-quality Modular Log Cabins which will take less time to construct and will cost a significant amount less than their site-built counterparts. Their model home will soon be erected at the corner of Main Street and Beeline Highway in Payson. This 2300+ square foot facility will also house the offices of Century 21 Woodland when it is completed. The dealership owner, Steven Stevens said, "The startup of this company will allow many more people to afford a log cabin in the mountains than previous, and in much less time than it previously took. Payson is the closest mountain area to the Phoenix metropolis, and because of that, it is becoming the get-away destination of choice for many people seeking to escape the heat. We want to put the mountain cabin get-away in the reach of most people." The company has designed their own line of modular log cabins and will be starting a factory in Payson to build them. The cabins will be built from real lodge-pole pines that are imported from Canada and milled in Idaho. "With real log walls there is no need for extra insulation", says Stevens. "An eight inch log has an average insulation value of R-30, in addition it has a higher thermal mass than standard insulation." The company is also investigating how to use some of the ponderosa pines from the local area in the construction of their cabins. Currently they are considering the use of ponderosa tongue and groove boards for interior surfaces. The company also hopes to start a line of bunk-house cabins designed to be used in summer camps or other high occupancy sleeping situations where kitchen facilities will not be needed.
